Clean Gently

Wash your hands before touching your piercing.
Gently clean the front and back of your piercing with a cotton bud soaked in our Ear Care Solution 3x daily.

Rotate Piercing Earrings

After applying Ear Care Solution, gently rotate the earrings once or twice to prevent sticking.

Leave Earrings On

Keep your earrings on throughout the healing period:

Lobe: 6 weeks
Cartilage: 12 weeks

Do not to remove your earrings while healing. Keeping them in place helps your piercing settle comfortably.
Skip turtlenecks or tight necklines until your piercings have fully healed to prevent rubbing and irritation.
Avoid playing with or twisting your earrings. The less they’re disturbed, the better they will heal.
Try to keep hair products, perfume, and cosmetics away from your piercing. If they do come into contact, simply give the area a gentle cleanse with your Ear Care Solution.
Hold off on heavy earrings for 6 months to a year after healing. This helps keep your piercings comfortable and well supported.

After Healing

After Healing

You can now change your earrings! Your piercing may be healed, but a little extra care will help maintain comfort as it continues to settle.

After the healing period, you may change your earrings to other styles. For the next 6 months, try not to go more than 24 hours without wearing an earring to prevent the earring from closing.

Continue to clean your piercing and earrings with your aftercare solution as needed.

For the first 6 months after healing, stick to light stud style earrings for comfort and support.
